This Privacy Policy explains how FINVYR ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Finvyr ("the Service") at finvyr.com. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, including your name, email address, business name, GSTIN, PAN number, bank details, phone number, and logo. We also collect information about your use of the Service, such as invoices created, clients added, and reminder activity. Technical data including IP address, browser type, and device information may be collected automatically via server logs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: (a) provide, maintain, and improve the Service; (b) send transactional emails and payment reminders on your behalf; (c) process payments through Stripe and Razorpay; (d) send service-related notifications; (e) respond to your support requests; (f) comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on Supabase, which operates on infrastructure that is ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certified. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt. Sensitive fields such as SMTP passwords and bank details are encrypted at rest. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. Despite these measures, no system is 100% secure — we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords.
4. Third-Party Services
Finvyr integrates with the following third-party services: Stripe (payment processing — stripe.com/privacy), Razorpay (payment gateway — razorpay.com/privacy), Zoho Mail / Custom SMTP (email delivery), and Supabase (database and authentication). Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing their use of data. We share only the minimum information necessary for these services to function.
5. Cookies
We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or sell data to advertisers. Our products are ad-free. You may disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from logging in to the Service.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or tax compliance purposes (typically 7 years for financial records under Indian law).
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; export your invoice and client data in CSV format from the dashboard; withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. 8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice within the Service at least 7 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
